New pedal series by Walrus Audio – Fundamental Series
Walrus Audio is a company that has been making waves in the world of guitar pedals since its inception in 2011. Known for their unique designs, high-quality sound, and attention to detail, Walrus Audio has established itself as a company that produces some of the best guitar pedals on the market today. And their new Fundamental Series of guitar pedals is no exception.
The Fundamental Series consists of eight different pedals: Reverb pedal, Delay pedal, Phaser pedal, Chorus pedal, Tremolo pedal, Fuzz pedal, Distortion pedal and a drive pedal. Each pedal has its own distinct sound and features, but all share the same level of quality and attention to detail that Walrus Audio is known for.
The Fundamental Series presented us with the challenge of creating a line of pedals that would meet the tonal standards necessary for professional use, while still being user-friendly enough for beginners. To achieve this, each pedal in the series features three easily adjustable sliders for sound customization and a three-way mode switch. The end result is a series of pedals that will prove useful from the early days of band practice to the biggest of stages. All Fundamental pedals are designed and constructed at the Walrus Audio headquarters located in OKC, OK.
Fundamental Series common features:
- Pedal size is 4.33″ x 2.16″ x 1.61”.
- Power requirements are 9VDC (100mA minimum).
- The use of an isolated power supply is recommended for powering all Walrus Audio Pedals.
- Daisy chain power supplies are not recommended. Power supply not included.
Walrus Audio’s History
Walrus Audio is a relatively new player in the guitar pedal industry, having been founded in 2011 by Jonathan and Jason in Norman, Oklahoma. Despite its youth, the company has quickly made a name for itself by producing high-quality, innovative guitar pedals that have won over the hearts of many musicians around the world.
Both musicians themselves, started Walrus Audio with a passion for creating unique and inspiring effects pedals that would help other musicians create their own sounds. They wanted to offer a fresh take on the traditional guitar pedals that were already on the market, and their desire to push the boundaries of what was possible with effects pedals quickly became the driving force behind the company.
